ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Candidates interested to take admission in first year of 3 years diploma Engineer/Technology courses in Govt. Polytechnics are required to take PAT (Polytechnic admission test) which is being conducted by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board Dharamshala  Distt. Kangra H.P. The selection for admission to different courses is being conducted by Directorate of technical education H.P Sundernagar through centralized counseling on the basis of merit of PAT.

                                             Admission into second year of diploma level courses under lateral entry scheme is made on the basis of merit of LEET (lateral entry entrance test) or 10+2 science after exhausting the merit of LEET.

                                                               Minimum eligibility to appear for LEET is ITI ( 2 years in Engg. Trade) or 10+2 vocational from govt./state govt. recognized school .

*Rs 1000 shall be collected from the students at the start of semester which will be adjusted against the actual bills, balance amount if any be returned to the students at the end of semester.

INSTITUTES GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Every student has to follow the customary rules and regulations to get the maximum facilities provided to them. These rules are only for the safety and welfare of the students and they can be changed from time to time without any information. Students must get information about changed rules daily. Any negligence is inexcusable.

2. It is the new admitted student is not able to deposit his dues till the last date or remains absent without the permission of principal than his/her admission will be cancelled. Principal will give the information about the vacant seat to the chairman of the admission committee and this will be filled as per the rules in the last round of counseling.


3. Students are expected to behave properly and give respects to their seniors as well as their classmates. Every employee of this institute has the right to stop the improper behavior and student must obey the order of employee.

4. Shouting and wondering which create problem for other is strictly prohibited.


5. The smoking, drinking, gambling is strictly prohibited within campus and in the hostel. If any student found disobeying the rules than he/she will be fined by the principal and if he /she disobeying the rules habitually then he / she will be rusticated.

6. Students will be marked absent if they come late or leave the class earlier.


7. After using tools machines and instruments they should be placed at their original place. Incharge must be informed if any instrument is damaged by using carelessly or intentionally.

8. Institute will not be responsible for missing any article or property of the student within the institute campus.


9. Institute will not be responsible for any accident while working in laboratory, workshops or hostel. Student should be precautions about everything.

10. Every student should be aware about his/her studies. If any student found unsatisfactory then he/she will be rusticated.
11. If any student is found characterless or don’t do his/her work properly and not obey the authorities then will be fined and apart from that will be rusticated.

12. At the time of admission every student will be given identity card after receiving 50rs. In case of missing student should inform the authority and he/she will be fined 50rs and will get the new identity card after paying 50rs.


13. Every student must deposit his/her money at local bank or post-office and must withdraw the money as per his/her made. Institute will not be responsible for any loss of money of any student.

14. Without the permission of the principal no organization and assembly will be organized in the institute.


15. Principal decision regarding all the rules and matters will be considered as final and will be applicable for all.

16. If any student uses fake documents for getting admission and scholarships he/she will be rusticated at any time and unnecessary action should be taken as per law.


17. H.P takniki shiksha board will regulate the rules and regulations for all the curriculum from time to time and it will be applicable for all the students.

18. Ragging inside/outside the institute is offence as per H.P educational institution (prohibition of ragging) ordinance 2010, every offence under this ordinance shall be cognizable, no bail able and compoundable with the permission of court. Any student found indulged in ragging activities directly/indirectly, strict action will be taken against him/her as per law.


19. Improper behavior of the examinee like destroying the property of institute/ hostel or towards the others employees of the institute or disobeying the rules intentionally then he/she will be fined or rusticated by the Principal.
